As we reflect on the beautiful spring and summer we've enjoyed together, we have so much to be thankful for. This season has been filled with meaningful events and joyous moments:
-
Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Services: We honored the incredible parents in our community, celebrating their dedication and love.
-
Vacation Bible School: Our children experienced a week of fun and faith, learning about God’s love and growing in their spiritual journey.
-
KY Changers - We hosted and served the KY Changers, a group of teens who spent a couple of weeks in Henry County completing service projects.
-
Celebrating Pastor Larry Montgomery’s 20 Years of Ministry: What a special time it was as we came together to celebrate Pastor Larry's two decades of devoted service and leadership at Henry Christian Church. Watch Larry's tribute video here.

As we navigate through this election season, let us remember to keep our focus on Jesus. In times of uncertainty, let’s anchor our hearts in His steadfast love and faithfulness.
The Bible encourages us in Psalm 62:5-6 (NIV): "Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken."
May this scripture remind us of the peace and security we find in the Lord. As we face various challenges, let’s place our trust in Him and find comfort in His unchanging promises.

Psalm 122:6 (NIV): “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem” This scripture calls us to pray earnestly for the well-being and peace of Israel, acknowledging the vital role of our prayers in seeking God’s protection and blessing upon the land and its people. May we join together in lifting up Israel, trusting in God’s sovereign care and provision.
