As we reflect on the first quarter of 2024, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible ways God has been moving within our congregation. It has been a season filled with blessings, growth, and joyous celebrations of faith.
Throughout these past few months, we have witnessed numerous baptisms, symbolizing the transformation and renewal of lives within our community. Our recent concert featuring Peabod was a fun experience that young and old alike enjoyed immensely.
In February, we embarked on a six-week church-wide study on prayer, and the response was remarkable. Many small groups were formed, with members sharing powerful testimonies of God's faithfulness and provision in their lives. It's not too late to join one of these groups if you haven't already—we encourage you to experience the blessings of fellowship and spiritual growth.
We also cherished moments of fellowship, such as our 2023 Celebration with a wonderful dinner, inspiring messages, and recap videos from the previous year.
Our Parents Day Out event and Animal Tales family night brought laughter and joy and our spirit-filled Easter celebration was a beautiful reminder of the hope we have in Christ.
Looking ahead, here is a lineup of events planned for April:

4/27: Ladies Tea/Brunch featuring guest speaker Michelle Gash at 11 AM.

4/28: Jr. Youth Group Family Cookout.
As we anticipate these upcoming events, let us remember the words of Romans 12:10: "Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves."
May we continue to be united in love and purpose as we participate in the life of our church. There are many opportunities for you to get involved and be part of the exciting activities happening at HCC. Together, let us make 2024 our best year yet as we grow in faith, love, and service to one another and to our Lord.

As we wrap up this semester of Junior Youth Group activities, we wanted to celebrate by hosting a special event - a Family Cookout! It's a fantastic opportunity for us to come together, share some delicious food, and enjoy each other's company before we break for the summer.
