There is Hope.
HIS NAME IS JESUS.
No matter your past. No matter your mistakes. God offers forgiveness, new life, and a relationship with Him through Jesus.
We were
made for god
God created us to know Him and live with Him forever. But sin entered the world, and we turned away from God. Sin separates us from Him.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Romans 3:23
But....
Sin entered the world.
We chose to disobey God, and that sin separates us from Him.
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23
Our sin separates us from God and leaves us searching for hope in all the wrong places.

us there
God so loved the world that He sent His Son, Jesus, to rescue us. He lived a perfect life, died on the cross in our place, and took the punishment for our sin.
"For God so loved the world that He gave his only Son..." John 3:16
"But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
Romans 5:8
"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness."

not the end
Jesus rose from the dead, defeating sin and death!
Because He lives, we can have new life now
and the HOPE of eternity with God.
"For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,"

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,"

How do I respond?
God's gift of salvation is received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
When we respond to the gospel, we turn to Him with our whole lives.
believe
Trust in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and in what He has done for you.
repent
Turn from sin and turn toward God.
confess
Confess Jesus as Lord and place your life in His hands.
be baptized
Follow Jesus in baptism as a public expression of your faith and new life in Him.
These are not steps we complete to earn salvation. They are biblical expressions of a life responding to Jesus in faith.
You do not have to earn God's love or work your way to Him. Salvation is God's gift, given by grace and received through faith in Jesus Christ.
Following Jesus is more than a one-time decision. It is the beginning of a new life of trusting Him, obeying Him, growing in Him, and becoming His disciple.
